Introduction

These Terms of Service outline the rules and guidelines for the services and goods offered by GARIDOCTOR MOTORS, a business that that offers car buying and selling, retail of car parts planners, and support services such as diagnostics, inspections and general car service. By purchasing an item, contacting us, or using any of our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

These terms do not apply to services and platforms we do not control, including third-party payment processors like M-Pesa or banks. Please review the respective terms of those services for additional information.

1. Information we collect

To fulfill your order, we may collect personal information such as:

  • Full name
  • Phone Number
  • Physical Address
  • Email address
  • Payment details (via third-party processors)
  • Product purchase history
  • Various additional information you submit when contacting us or placing an inquiry

This information is necessary for order processing, customer support, and legal compliance. We do not store sensitive payment data ourselves.

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • To fulfill and deliver your purchases
  • To provide customer support or respond to inquiries
  • To send updates or newsletters (only with your consent)

4. Digital products and delivery

We currently do not sell any digital products. In case of sale of software services in future, this section will be updated to cover the delivery of such items.

5. Returns & Refunds

We offer refunds for goods or services that do not match the description provided at the time of sale or fail to meet the specifications agreed upon with the customer. Examples include incorrect part numbers supplied or parts that do not match the vehicle specifications provided by the customer.

To qualify for a return or refund:

  • The item must be returned within 7 days of the purchase date.
  • The item must be returned in the same condition in which it was supplied.
  • The customer must provide proof of purchase and any information requested to verify the claim.

NB: Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable under all circumstances. Once a part has been accepted, installed, modified, or used, it is generally not eligible for return or refund.

Electronic and Sensitive Components

Certain components, including but not limited to ECUs, ABS modules, fuel pumps, and other electronic or sensitive parts, must be installed and tested by approved technicians or authorized partners for any warranty, return, or refund claim relating to performance issues to be considered.

Other Return Requests

Any return request that does not result from our error or a product mismatch will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If approved, a restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price will apply, subject to a minimum charge of KSh 1,000.

We reserve the right to inspect and test any returned item before approving a refund or exchange.

6. Data retention

We retain customer data for up to 7 years to comply with legal, accounting, and business obligations unless longer retention is required by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access – Request a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Correction – Request that we fix or update inaccurate data
  • Deletion – Request erasure of your data (where allowed by law)
  • Objection – Opt-out of marketing communications

8. Limitation of liability

GARIDOCTOR Motors is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our products. All products are provided on "as is" basis without warranties unless explicitly stated.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our website.
